• Module 2: Your First Scripts

      After this module you're able to:

      1. Read and execute simple scripts in Google Earth Engine 
      2. Perform spatial analysis in GEE
      3. Apply thresholding and export raster data from GEE
      4. Visualize time series plots in GEE

    • Introduction to the Study Area

      The study area for this module is the Miandoab Irrigation Scheme (MIS) located in Urmia Lake Basin (ULB) in northwestern Iran. Watch the video below on the water management issues facing Urmia Lake Basin, as well as a presentation from Dr. Behdad Chehrenegar, Head of Research Division at Urmia Lake Restoration Program (ULRP), on Miandoab and its relevance to the ULRP.
