
Welcome to Water Management and Governance
Welcome to the course Water Management and Governance, as part of the Capacity Building for Water Accounting (CB4WA) Training Programme. This course is intended to provide an introduction to a variety of topics that are important for
inclusive and equitable management of water. In six weeks of lectures, we will cover the basics of integrated water resources management (IWRM), water governance (including water auditing and understanding important social considerations), as well
as complementary topics (like planning for water resources and transboundary water management).

- Transboundary water management
- Socializing the pixel
- Gender and social inclusion
Schedule
Course starts: 8 April 2021
Course ends: 27 May 2021
Each week, there will be a live session with the lecturers on Thursdays at 09:00 - 10:00 CEST, with a welcome meeting on Thursday 8 April 2021. These sessions will be held in the Meeting Room below using BigBlueButton as the meeting platform. These sessions are mandatory for the course and we encourage all participants to do their best to join. However, the sessions will be recorded to view later in case participants are unable to attend due to other commitments.
Materials for the upcoming week will be made available every Thursday, 1 week prior to the live session for that topic. Participants are expected to have completed the material on the course in preparation for the live session.
