• Introduction
Communicating data to citizens, policy makers and scientists requires different approaches. It is important to develop the narrative that you want to communicate and to adjust this to the target group, while keeping it scientifically sound. Visualisations also depend on the media used for data presentation. In this course you’ll learn how to create graphs, maps and animations for posters, slide shows, websites and scientific publications. You’ll use open data and open source software.
