Distance teaching is the way now for most education institutes to continue the education. IHE is already offering a variety of online teaching products, including open course ware, and you might as well. As a programme we want to support partners further in their online teaching developments by sharing our experience and learn from you.

Online training on online course development
On the 16th of April a free online training will start on 'Planning and designing an online course'. The online training on designing and planning an online course is an introductory course which is offered by IHE Delft to its partners in low and middle income countries. Online courses require detailed planning, design, development and testing before delivery. This 6-week course covers the first steps of an online course development process: design & planning.
Participants will design an online course and plan its development and implementation, interact with course participants by sharing ideas and providing feedback. The course aims to accelerate institutional initiatives in online education to increase impact.

Tools
There's overlap in tools for distance commucation and distance teaching. If you don't have an eLearning environment, such as Moodle, you can use the distance communication tools.At IHE Delft we have good experiences with Big Blue Button, which is integrated in eCampus (our Moodle implementation).This table gives an overview of features
