Identify 6 main areas about your research that you can easily talk about, on the spot. Sketch out the categories on a piece of paper. There are a few examples below. 

2 - Practice switching topics

Find someone to talk to about this for 3 minutes without completely stopping. They can ask you to switch between areas whenever they want by silently pointing to the topical area; your job is to seamlessly transition from one area to the next This will help you practice ‘bridging’ from one area to the next.
