2 - Establish the big idea

Establish what the ‘big idea’ or ‘big problem’ is that your research addresses. This should be very simple, and your research alone isn’t enough to solve it. Below are some examples:

“How to make sure everyone in the Nile Basin has access to enough water.” 

“How to make sure that the plants and animals of the Nile Basin are secure for the future.”

“How to prepare populations in the Nile Basin  for climate change.”
