In online education, time is used differently. While a campus lecture has a defined time and place to happen, in online education workload is spread over time to provide the necessary flexibility. The environment and learning method (active) will be new for many students, something that we need to take into account when designing an online course.
Therefore it's important to design a scaffolding experience that will take your students step by step, helping them build the necessary skills to be successful online students.
